Beats & Spritz brings the pulse of Italian‑inspired disco and dance culture to life with a night of electric energy, iconic beats, and vibrant rhythms

Featuring two dynamic DJs — DJ Morena and DJ Mark Pellegrini and Cairns-based saxophonist Mike Rivett, this event celebrates the music that defined Italian‑influenced dance floors from the 80s right through to today’s modern remixes.

DJ Morena is a passionate and infectious presence behind the decks, known for her joyful and high-energy approach to music. Morena’s sets are full of classic party anthems, feel-good beats, and nostalgic favourites that get crowds moving and create an unforgettable atmosphere. With her deep love of Italian and European dance music, she skillfully blends timeless tracks with modern twists, keeping the energy alive and the dance floor buzzing all night.

DJ Mark Pellegrini is a seasoned DJ and producer celebrated for his eclectic sets and deep understanding of disco, funky beats, and electronic grooves. A fixture in Australia’s music scene, Mark brings a polished and rhythmic style that keeps the energy flowing and the dance floor alive all night. His sets move seamlessly between classic Italian dance influences and contemporary remixes, making him the perfect partner for this celebration of Italian disco culture.

The music journey at Beats & Spritz celebrates iconic sounds — from the euphoric rhythms and driving beats that made Gigi D’Agostino, Robert Miles, and Eiffel 65 household names, to modern reinterpretations and remixes that keep the Italian dance spirit fresh and exciting. The night combines nostalgia and innovation, inviting everyone to revel in the joy of Italian disco culture.

Guests will be welcomed with an Italian spritz on arrival and treated to a delicious finger-food, making Beats & Spritz more than a party — it’s a full sensory celebration of music, culture, and community.
