Italian Wedding Theatre Restaurant 2022

In conjunction with the Mareeba Theatre Group, the Cairns Italian Festival inaugural edition presented the world premiere of “Shezza and Leo Get Married – A Big Fat Italian Wedding”, a Theatre Restaurant style production written by Tasmanian Playwright Craig Wellington and directed by seasoned MTG director Ida Portella.

The audience experienced an interactive theatre restaurant with all the traditions of a North Queensland Italian Australian Wedding. From the 80’s style hens/bucks party to the ceremony and the wedding reception, we laughed, cried and of course, enjoyed classic Italian food and wine. This Aussie Italian Wedding was one not to miss, it was be fun, entertaining, and not to mention the awesome 80’s music. This was be one of the major theatre shows of 2022 with previous shows selling out!
